Spent some time recharging down in South Carolina – now I’m back and ready to roll!  ‘Big Easy Down’ is set to start a national radio promo campaign at the end of the month!  Let me know if you hear it played on freeform radio or internet radio.
A couple of band gigs at the end of the month– Hollow Creek , 3-26, and O’Lordan’s 3/27.  Hollow Creek has just renovated their venue – should be awesome.  Come on out and listen to the band!

Already Gone remained steady at #8 on the Freeform American Roots Charts! I’ve uploaded a couple of videos onto YouTube – go check ‘em out!  I’ve gotten a great response from the freeform DJ’s in the U.S. – check out my links page to see some of the places they’re playing Already Gone.
I’ve also signed up as an available performer at Concerts in Your Home.  I’d love the opportunity to play for some of you in a more intimate listening setting – all that’s required is a little space and an attentive, interested audience.   There are lots of other great, local artists available as well.

Already Gone was # 2 on the Euro Americana Charts and # 8 on the Freeform American Roots Charts! The Euro Americana Chart is compiled by DJs, journalists, retailers, promotors and other people who are interested in Americana music from all over Europe.  Every month they send in their favouriteCD top 6. Stay tuned!

The CD release party was fantastic.  Thanks to all of you who stopped by, bought a CD or who were just there in spirit.  The Cat's Eye was packed and really jumpin'.  Along with my usual supporting cast of Rick Weisenmiller (drums) and Mark Riddle (bass) I was also joined by Gantt Kushner (guitar), Jen Smith (cello and background vocals), Patty Reese (background vocals), ellen cherry (background vocals) and Chasmo (harmonica).  I really appreciate the support and friendship of these excellent musicians.  Since then, I've been busy sending my CD out to DJ's and music journalists across Europe and here at home  and I've been getting an amazing response.  They're playing ‘Big Easy Down’ at WTMD here in Towson, ‘Laurelite’ and ‘Love's Impossible’ in Germany, ‘Big Easy Down’ in France and the Netherlands, ‘NorfolkTown’ in Belgium, ‘Broken Down Cowboys’ in the UK and ‘Home for Christmas’ all over the place.  The disk is also spinning at a couple of radio stations in Australia and New Zealand as well as various staions across the Western and Mid Western US!  You can see reviews of Already Gone so far in January at the following sites:  www.rootshighway.it, www.johnnysgarden.nl and www.altcountryforum.nl. I will be adding more links to the "Links" page as more stations and reviewers turn up!
Also, I'm working with Peter Holmstedt of Hemifran to further promote the CD all across Europe.  I just want to say, thank you to all of you.  I wouldn't still be out here doing what I love if it weren't for the support of all you folks who come out and see us perform and buy CDs.  I've started adding dates for the 2010 - so please check out the Shows page.
